Produce Clerk

Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team. In this position, your main responsibility will be to ensure the freshness and high quality of the products in our produce section.

Key Duties:

• Receive and unpack incoming produce shipments
• Display and stock produce on shelves and throughout the store
• Ensure all produce items are accurately labeled and priced
• Keep track of inventory levels and restock as needed
• Conduct quality inspections to verify the freshness of produce
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing produce items
• Maintain a tidy and organized working environment
• Perform additional tasks as required

Requirements:

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Able to assess produce for quality and freshness
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service

Pay Rate: $15.60-$17.20/hour
