Job Description

Welcome to NASCAR’s Championship Weekend! Phoenix Raceway has been the premier motorsports venue in the Southwest since 1964, hosting two NASCAR race weekends annually. The Ruoff Mortgage 500 NASCAR Weekend in March marks the start of the race season, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and ARCA Menards Series. In November, champions are crowned across multiple series. Phoenix Raceway also hosts various events, including corporate meetings, charity events, and driving schools.

EVENT TRAM DRIVER is responsible for driving trucks that pull trams along assigned routes. Drivers may also operate vans or buses. A valid Class A, B, or C CDL is required, along with a clean Motor Vehicle Report. Shifts range from 8 to 15 hours, depending on race finish times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a Class A, B, or C CDL
  • Availability for NASCAR Shriners Children’s 500 weekend, March 8-10, 2024
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude
