Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process, focusing on holistic family-centered care. Responsibilities include collecting and organizing patient data, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes. Provides direct patient care in the clinical setting under the supervision of the ICU Director or Charge Nurse. Conducts thorough assessments of critical care patients and ensures timely documentation. Collaborates with healthcare team members to facilitate patient transitions through the care continuum. Implements quality care standards for various critical conditions, including heart and renal failure, and administers vasoactive medications.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience required.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current Montana RN License. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; CCRN certification preferred.
