This float position will cover 8 clinics in Elkhart, Mishawaka, Nappanee, Butler, LaGrange, and Angola, IN, with Elkhart as the home clinic. Travel to Butler, LaGrange, and Angola will be less frequent.
Schedule: Flexible availability required Monday – Friday from 6 am – 7 pm, working 8-hour shifts.

About the Role
We seek an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is vital to our care team, working closely with primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care and guest experiences. Our Medical Assistants manage the entire patient experience, fulfilling both receptionist and clinical responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties reflect the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive:
- Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and stocking
- Review medical history and gather updated health information
- Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures
- Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider
- Collaborate with the care team to develop individual patient care plans
- Handle front desk duties, including scheduling and medical record management
- Document accurate data in medical records
- Process test results and communicate them to patients
- Engage in patient outreach to drive participation
- Maintain clinical and office supplies
About You
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program
- National or state-specific MA certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required at start date
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
