Department/Unit Summary
12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
1:6 Patient Ratio
17-bed unit
Every 3rd weekend
Self-scheduling
Any color scrubs
Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable standards.
Essential Functions
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
- Document patient care provided.
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team.
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines.
- Evaluate and educate patients and families based on their needs.
- Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Adhere to safety goals and core measure initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
Current state RN license required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS and chemotherapy certifications preferred.
