Job Description

**Position:** Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive Care Overflow (PCU 4)
**Schedule:** Full Time Nights, Weekends (every other)
**Incentive:** $20,000 Commitment Bonus – one year on night shift, two-year employment commitment

    **Qualifications:**
    Current state RN license or multistate compact RN license, and an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

    **Certifications Required:**

  • Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days)
  • Current ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months)
  • Pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days

    • **Skills Needed:**

  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Effective communication in English

    • **Department Summary:**

  • 25-bed unit with private rooms
  • Telemetry monitoring for all patients
  • 5:1 Patient Ratio
  • Team nursing model with 2 RNs and 5 LPNs
  • Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover
  • Focus on cardiac patients and post-heart cath surgeries
