Job Description

Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher

The Staff Pad is collaborating with a client in Montana aiming to set the gold standard in Healthcare. We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to help fulfill the organization’s mission. This position involves providing consistent supervision, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment, and working alongside the Lead Teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschoolers aged 3 to 6.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise children during play, meals, and nap times.
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and executing engaging, age-appropriate curricula.
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes exploration and social interaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom and comply with health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families, addressing any welfare concerns.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
    • Qualifications:
    • Understanding of childhood development and early education best practices.
    • Ability to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and families.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; must be at least 16 years old.

    Certifications:

    • CPR and Pediatric First Aid (within 30 days of hire).
    • Enrollment in the Montana Early Childhood Project Practitioner Registry within 15 days of hire.
    • Completion of Health and Safety training within 90 days and ongoing education annually.
