Position Role Type: Onsite

At Raytheon, we are dedicated to helping our nation and allies defend freedoms. We seek a Principal Systems Engineer for a key program, focusing on requirements clarification, system analyses, and validation. This position is onsite in Aurora, CO.

What You Will Do:

  • Define system functionality and create use cases.
  • Decompose requirements and define interfaces.
  • Support test program execution and architecture design.
  • Assist with regression testing across releases.
  • Participate in technical reviews.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Experience in systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Development experience on government contracts.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in Satellite Command/Control.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with requirements databases like DOORS.
  • Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python).
