Department/Unit Summary
Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:00p/8:00a-4:30p
Responsible for executing and adapting care management as per the Utilization Review Plan, ensuring resource appropriateness and adherence to designated Length of Stay (GLOS).
Essential Functions
- Develop departmental goals and objectives supporting the organization’s strategic plan.
- Assess and coordinate quality patient care with staff, physicians, and departments.
- Foster an environment encouraging professional growth and integrate evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary decision-making at the point of care.
- Understand payer issues and anticipate opportunities to reduce expenses and capture revenue.
- Coordinate care within the case-managed population.
- Educate staff on Case Management standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements
Current state RN license required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of case management experience preferred.
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
