You will utilize your specialized care interventions and innovate patient care, shaping exceptional patient journeys daily while leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance patient well-being.

Department/Unit Summary

Essential Functions

  • Assess patients’ physical and mental health, including reactions to illnesses and treatments.
  • Record and report nursing assessment results.
  • Plan, initiate, deliver, and evaluate nursing actions.
  • Teach, assign, delegate, and supervise personnel in treatment implementation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate patient care, without prescribing treatments or making diagnoses unless supervised by a licensed physician.
  • Implement prescribed treatment and pharmaceutical regimens.
  • Provide health teaching and counseling.
  • Supervise, teach, and evaluate nursing functions and services.
  • Ensure safe and effective nursing care, directly or indirectly.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and core measure initiatives.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants must have a current state RN license; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
  • One year of Med/Surg experience preferred.
  • ASLS certification preferred.
