The Staff Pad is proud to collaborate with a non-profit healthcare system in Helena, Montana, dedicated to providing exceptional care and setting the standard for healthcare in the region. We are currently seeking a CT Technologist to join their team.

Job Title: CT Technologist

Schedule: Day Shift, Every 4th Weekend

Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, prioritize patient safety, and communicate effectively with patients and staff. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering contrast media, and operating CT equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient identification and procedure requests.
  • Confirm pregnancy status and assess allergy risks.
  • Educate patients on radiation exposure risks and benefits.
  • Administer IV and oral contrast as needed.
  • Prepare and operate CT equipment, ensuring quality control.
  • Coordinate with other departments for seamless patient care.
  • Participate in training and support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and report equipment issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of CT experience or completion of a CT cross-training program.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Eligible for ARRT registration in CT within 12 months of hire.
  • Permit to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Montana.
  • Current BLS certification.
