Job Description
The Speech Therapist will evaluate and treat patients referred for Speech/Language Pathology services. Responsibilities include developing care plans, discussing them with patients and guardians, and assisting patients in achieving optimal performance in daily life. The role involves maintaining documentation, participating in departmental activities, and collaborating with front desk staff for scheduling and insurance authorizations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge/Experience: Familiarity with speech pathology principles and infection control; 1-5 years of experience preferred.
- Education: Masters degree in speech/language pathology.
- License/Certification: Current state licensure and BLS certification required.
