Civica, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization founded in 2018 by various health systems and philanthropies, aims to alleviate chronic drug shortages and high prices. With over 55 health systems representing 1,500 hospitals, Civica prioritizes patient interests and has expanded to include affordable medications at retail pharmacies through CivicaScript. Recently, Civica announced plans to produce affordable biosimilar insulin, ensuring consistent access for those in need.
Job Description:
The Project Management Associate will support project management at the Petersburg site, coordinating planning, execution, and monitoring. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a regulated environment.
Essential Duties:
- Develop project plans and timelines.
- Track progress and prepare status reports.
- Create and manage project dashboards.
- Support external customer meetings.
- Manage compliance task lists.
- Support operational excellence initiatives.
- Document meeting minutes and action items.
- Perform assigned office management tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Experience in cGMP environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Project and Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Start-up experience preferred.
