Job Description

Job Title: Pediatric RN – Nights

The Staff Pad is collaborating with a client in Montana aiming to set the gold standard in healthcare. We are seeking a Pediatric RN – Nights to uphold the organization’s mission. This role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to neonatal, postpartum (couplet), and pediatric patients. Flexibility and a commitment to the nursing process are essential for providing high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process for holistic family-centered care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Care for neonatal, pediatric, and postpartum patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Provide empathetic, non-judgmental care while effectively communicating with patients and families.
  • Adhere to St. Peter’s Behavioral Standards in all care and communication.
  • Adapt to changing environments and scheduling needs, working effectively under stress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
    • Qualifications:
    • Experience:
      • OB Track: Experience with laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients; ability to circulate for cesarean sections within six months of hire.
      • Pediatric Track: Experience in neonatal, postpartum, and pediatric care.
    • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • Current Montana RN License.
      • BLS certification required.
      • OB Track: NRP, ACLS, and STABLE certifications within 12 months; fetal monitoring certification within six months.
      • Pediatric Track: NRP, STABLE, and PALS certifications within 12 months.
    Preferred:
    • After two years, the following certifications are encouraged:
      • OB Track: Inpatient OB, Lactation, optional Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
      • Pediatric Track: Pediatric, Lactation.
