We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician 2 to join our team in Valley Stream. The ideal candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing high-quality patient care.
**Responsibilities:**
Perform preliminary eye exams and diagnostic tests.
Assist in patient education regarding eye health.
Maintain and sterilize equipment and instruments.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Support the ophthalmologist during procedures.
**Qualifications:**
Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
