**Job Summary** Under the guidance of the Director of Child Nutrition, you will assist in preparing and cooking a diverse range of foods for hot school lunches, adhering to standard recipes in the central kitchen. You will also ensure that food service areas and facilities are kept clean and sanitary. **Responsibilities:**
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas.
  • Assist in inventory management and food storage.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service.
  • **Requirements:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in food preparation or cooking preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
