Job Description

**SUMMARY** The Industrial Hygienist (IH) will join the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Occupational Health Branch (OHB) COVID-19 Team, offering specialized industrial hygiene expertise to support the Team, internal CDPH partners, local public health jurisdictions, and other state agencies. **RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Conduct assessments of workplace environments for COVID-19 risks.

• Develop and implement safety protocols and guidelines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote best practices.

• Provide training and resources on industrial hygiene.

**REQUIREMENTS**
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field.
  • Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in public health or occupational safety.
