**Job Title: Public Safety Officer**
**About the Job:**
The Public Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure campus environment.
**Essential Job Functions:**
Patrols and secures campus grounds and facilities by vehicle, bike, and foot.
Assists in the protection of life and property on campus.
Examines doors, windows, gates, roadways, and lighting to ensure security.
Investigates incidents and submits detailed reports.
**Responsibilities:**
Responds to emergencies and provides first aid as needed.
Enforces campus policies and regulations.
Collaborates with local law enforcement when necessary.
**Requirements:**
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong communication and observational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
