Department/Unit Summary
3 12-hour shifts: 6:45a-7:00p and 6:45p-7:00a. Neuro/Ortho experience preferred. 20-bed unit focusing on spine, neck, head surgery, stroke, and seizure patients.

Essential Functions

  • Administer medications and clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care provided.
  • Monitor and communicate patient conditions.
  • Assist with daily living activities.
  • Coordinate patient care across disciplines.
  • Provide patient/family education.
  • Advocate for patient well-being.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
Current state RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school required. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • ASLS certification preferred.
