Purpose of Role
The IT Support Specialist at Condair is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting technology issues, providing support to staff in North America and globally. Key responsibilities include maintaining IT systems, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring IT services are consistently available.
This role also involves supporting Condair’s MS Teams Telephony system globally, including deployment and maintenance for all local business entities.
Requirements, Key Duties, and Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate competence in the following:
- Provide first and second-level IT support for Condair locations in North America, both in-person and remotely.
- Offer technical support and training for Microsoft 365 and other standard applications.
- Install and maintain Windows clients, primarily via MS Intune.
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and access controls across the M365 platform.
- Monitor hardware, software, and network availability using predefined tools.
- Maintain critical manufacturing printing equipment.
- Support corporate projects with IT components, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Participate in global IT projects, including migrations and software rollouts.
- Stay updated on technology trends to recommend improvements.
Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies:
- 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
- Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, including servers and printers.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA are a plus.
