**Position:** Custodian – Firelands

**Work Schedule:** Full-time, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday-Friday. Benefits included.

**Position Summary:** Under supervision, performs custodial duties for building maintenance and responds to emergencies.

**Essential Functions:**

  • Maintain floor care: sweeping, mopping, buffing, and refinishing.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms and service drains.
  • Clean classrooms, offices, and common areas.
  • Handle trash and recyclables properly.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment.
  • Respond to emergencies and report repairs.
  • Assist with campus events setup.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
  • No prior experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

**Essential Competencies:**
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and able to operate custodial equipment.
