Job Description

Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process in line with established standards of practice. Supervises, teaches, and delegates nursing care activities to other personnel.

Required Licenses: Registered Nurse
Current RN Licensure in Kentucky or multistate compact status.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work within designated competency areas per Internal Agency Grid.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Pass an arrhythmia exam within 30 days of hire.
  • NIHSS Certification obtained within 30 days of hire.

    • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment. Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
