Schedule: Monday 7am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 6am-5pm, Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 7am-3pm

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is vital to our care team, working closely with primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care and experiences. Our Medical Assistants manage the entire patient experience, fulfilling both Medical Receptionist and clinical responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties reflect the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking
- Review medical history and gather updated health information
- Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures
- Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider
- Collaborate with the care team to develop individual patient care plans
- Handle front desk duties, including scheduling, medical record requests, and check-in/check-out
- Document accurate data in medical records
- Process test results and communicate them to patients
- Engage in outreach to promote patient engagement
- Maintain clinical and office supplies
About You
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required at start date
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
