GPI is seeking a full-time Director of Structural Engineering for our New England branch, with potential office locations in Wilmington, MA; Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Salem, NH; and Bedford, NH. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the structural engineering department in New England, focusing on projects in Massachusetts and surrounding states.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
  • Develop long-term vision and strategy for the department.
  • Oversee financial operations and ensure quality control.
  • Mentor and guide team leaders within the structural team.
  • Collaborate with marketing for business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in structural design and project management.
  • Licensed professional engineer in Massachusetts or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Strong background in bridge design, particularly with MassDOT.
  • Proven project management and mentoring experience.
