Job Description

The Computerized System Manager for Laboratory IT will oversee the implementation and maintenance of computerized systems for GxP Laboratory Operations, ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage LIMS and CDS systems, including selection, installation, and support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data integrity standards.
  • Implement data integrity controls and manage lab instrument integration.
  • Perform system administration tasks for Empower.
  • Troubleshoot Empower-related issues and coordinate with vendors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective system solutions.
  • Manage the computerized system budget and monitor performance.
  • Identify opportunities for system innovation and improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of computerized system principles and regulations.
  • Understanding of laboratory processes and technologies.
  • Experience with data integrity controls and Empower system administration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MODA LIMS.
  • Advanced project and change management skills.
  • Knowledge of computerized system validation.
  • Experience with ELN and paperless lab implementation.
