Job Description

PeopleShare is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Hamburg and Leesport, PA area!

Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor will lead the production department under the guidance of the Plant Manager, coordinating daily activities across multiple areas at QP & HF Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret production orders to determine product types, quantities, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with USDA labeling standards.
• Track and report employee time accurately.
• Oversee training, development, and evaluations of hourly staff.
• Enforce compliance with SOPs, SSOPs, GMP, and HACCP standards.
• Monitor supply inventory and order necessary materials.
• Manage PDS settings to maintain production quality.
• Ensure a safe work environment and report any issues.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; AA or BS/BA preferred.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or 5 years without educational qualifications; poultry experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish/English preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and food processing equipment.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to work in varying conditions, including cold and wet environments.
