Purpose of Role

We are seeking a full-time Logistics Group Leader (Supervisor) to oversee delivery and distribution operations in a dynamic warehouse setting. This role involves managing staffing, customer relations, and overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate with third-party freight providers.
  • Organize customs and tax-related logistics issues.
  • Utilize ERP systems for product management.
  • Manage trailer staging and storage areas.
  • Support maintenance of logistics equipment.
  • Oversee warehouse organization and dock management.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and quality standards.
  • Maintain KPIs related to logistics.
  • Foster a safe and positive work environment.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly.
  • Develop third-party vendor relationships.
  • Assist in staff recruitment and development.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Drive cost management initiatives.
  • Report on KPI performance regularly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of logistics management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Energetic, professional, and safety-oriented.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
