Qualifications and requirements
Applicants must have a current state RN license and a bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
Department/Unit Summary
12-hour shifts: 6:45 am-7:15 pm and 6:45 pm-7:15 am. New grads are welcome. Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
Essential Functions
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and provide clinical treatments.
- Document patient care.
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team.
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines.
- Evaluate and educate patients and families.
- Advocate for patients’ well-being.
- Adhere to safety goals and core measure initiatives.
