Purpose of Role
- Support Condair operations with financial insights, reporting, strategy, and analysis.
- Manage FP&A, General Accounting, Operations & Cost Accounting, and Treasury services.
- Act as a business partner to team members.
- Oversee financial responsibilities for both locations (Center & Richmond).
- Lead the Local Finance Team in Richmond and Center.
Requirements, Key Duties, and Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate competence in the following:
- Manage financials for two facilities, including closing activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Handle daily, monthly, and annual accounting tasks, including sub-ledger management and cash management.
- Conduct FP&A activities for reporting to the board and parent company.
- Perform financial analysis and cost accounting, including variance analysis and KPI management.
- Manage cash planning and forecasting for the division.
- Prepare financial reports for local Sales and Operations.
- Assist with annual operating budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Support various financial topics, including insurance and risk management.
- Contribute to the financial setup of new facilities.
- Develop and lead a team of local finance managers.
Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 5+ years in general accounting.
- 5+ years in FP&A reporting and analysis.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of local financial regulations.
- Language Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
- Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Other:
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically as required.
