Position Summary: This nursing role focuses on delivering patient care and transitioning from academic to professional Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include coordinating care, documentation, and patient/family education.
Reports to: Med Surg/Tele Director
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associates degree required within 90 days of hire.
- Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in stressful environments.
- Certifications: BLS required on hire (ACLS current, BLS not required).
- Licenses: Arizona RN License or Compact State RN License required within 6 months of hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
- Competencies: EKG Course and NIHSS Stroke within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
