Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support safety, quality, cost, and productivity across various manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include leading process and capital initiatives, providing reports and analyses, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Prioritizing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standard work documentation for new processes or equipment.
- Maintain process control systems and documentation.
- Innovate new manufacturing techniques and equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Optimize process design and manufacturing equipment.
- Communicate effectively with plant and executive leadership.
- Manage large-scale projects from conception to startup.
- Design efficient layouts and material handling systems.
- Lead manufacturing process design and implement lean concepts.
- Conduct time studies and ergonomic analyses.
- Perform structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Develop FMEA for process documentation.
- Provide project status reports as needed.
- Support equipment and process efficiency goals.
- Assist with budget reporting and maintenance.
- Collaborate across departments on special projects.
- Adhere to Condair’s Quality program and Health and Safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing training preferred.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience; knowledge of Statistical Analysis is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead capital activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in Solidworks and Autocad.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
