The recruitment for the Exceptional Needs Care Coordinator position at Marion County Adult Behavioral Health has been reopened for additional applicants and will remain open until filled. This role involves providing services to individuals with serious mental illnesses and complex needs, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders. You will collaborate with community partners, work within a multidisciplinary team, and support individuals in achieving optimal health. Ideal candidates should possess strong clinical skills, compassion, and excellent communication abilities. We provide a recruitment bonus of $2,000 for new employees starting between January 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, included in the first paycheck. For those relocating from outside Oregon, we offer a relocation package of up to $3,000 for moving expenses and a $3,000 relocation bonus upon proof of residency. Additionally, a $3.00 wage enhancement will be added for hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
GENERAL DUTIES: Provide assessments, treatment, and crisis intervention for individuals and families with complex needs. Work under a supervisor who sets goals and reviews outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Act as a liaison between ABH and various stakeholders, assess needs, authorize services, and facilitate community transitions. Collaborate with acute care staff and ensure accurate utilization data reporting.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or occupational therapy with one year of experience in behavioral health. Preference for candidates with LCSW or CSWA eligibility. Must obtain QMHP credentialing within 30 days of employment.
