**Job Description** **Job Summary:** Under the supervision of the Pathologist or Laboratory Manager, the technician will conduct immunohistochemical stains and various special procedures. Responsibilities include cutting, embedding, and staining histology specimens. **Essential Responsibilities:**

• Perform fixation and processing of tissue samples.

• Conduct routine and specialized staining techniques.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Assist in quality control and troubleshooting of staining processes.

**Requirements:**

Associate’s degree in Histotechnology or related field.

Certification by ASCP or equivalent preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
