Becoming a Machinist’s Mate Nuclear (MMN) requires dedication and intelligence. If you have a passion for math, chemistry, physics, and engineering, you may be the perfect fit. As an MMN, you will serve as the Navy’s nuclear reactor mechanic, responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining nuclear propulsion systems
• Conducting routine inspections and repairs
• Monitoring reactor performance and safety systems
• Training and supervising junior personnel
